چکیده
Aim. To evaluate the change in parameters of systolic and diastolic myocardial functions patients with severe obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) syndrome before after CPAP therapy.
Materials methods. Forty eight OSA aged 4574 years were examined. All underwent questionnaires, echocardiography tissue Dopplerography, speckle-tracking echocardiography. At end three-month course therapy, re-examined, followed by a comparative analysis data obtained.
Results. In ejection fraction left ventricle amplitude displacement fibrous ring tricuspid valve significantly increased, which indicated an increase relative capacity ventricular myocardium. The performed therapy had positive effect on function myocardium both ventricles, was manifested ratio peak rates early late transmitral transtricuspidal flows. rate regurgitation pressure pulmonary artery decreased dynamics.
Conclusion. use improves heart function, leads to decrease OSA. results obtained substantiate importance initiation complex treatment

pine therapy (0.4 mg, three times daily) had no effect on the bronchorrhea. Radiation therapy (3,000 rads) was delivered to the left lung and mediastinum in ten fractions over two weeks and was of striking and immediate benefit in reducing his bronchorrhea; there was a marked reduction in his sputum production by the end of the first week of radiation therapy and almost total amelioration at co...
متن کاملCPAP treats muscle cramps in patients with obstructive sleep apnea.
We describe a case series of 4 patients with varying degrees of obstructive sleep apnea who incidentally had a history of nocturnal leg cramps. None of the patients had periodic limb movements during the study and denied symptoms consistent with restless legs syndrome. In 3 of the 4 patients, nocturnal leg cramps resolved with CPAP treatment for OSA, while the fourth patient noted near-resoluti...

Introduction: This study aimed to investigate sleep architecture in patients with primary snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. Methods: In this study, we analyzed polysomnographic data of 391 clients who referred to Sleep Disorders Research Center (SDRS). These people were classified into three groups based on their Apnea-Hypopnea Index (AHI) and snoring; control, Primary Snoring (PS), and Obs...
متن کاملCPAP adherence of patients with obstructive sleep apnea.
BACKGROUND Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) and bi-level positive airway pressure (BPAP) are the gold standard treatments for obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS), but CPAP/BPAP is not well tolerated and requires long-term follow-up. OBJECTIVE We prospectively assessed subjective and objective adherence and factors that affect adherence in OSAS patients. METHODS Subjects using ...
